Hope you’re doing well! I wanted to tell you about a room we have available in our apartment. Right now, it’s me, my partner (her and I share a room), and my other roommate who has his own room. You’d be sharing a bathroom with only ONE person or you can have your own PRIVATE bathroom for a higher price. The apartment is right above the Halsey stop on the L train, with a -hour deli downstairs and the B bus stop. We’re the only residents in the building, and we have a huge private rooftop. There’s in-unit laundry and a dishwasher, which makes life easier. This is a high traffic area so there can be a lot of outside noise. We take cleanliness very seriously. Dishes get cleaned right away, counters and the stove are wiped down after every use. I mop and vacuum almost daily and ensuring no food is left out or open is essential to a cockroach and rat free living space which is one of my top priorities for the household. No outside shoes are allowed in the apartment, so you’ll need new indoor slippers. We’re all working professionals. My partner works in fashion, I work with UPS and the other roommate is an engineer. A security deposit and the first month’s rent, totaling $, are required on the move-in date, along with a valid photo ID and proof of credit score. The $ security deposit will be refunded upon move-out, minus any deductions for damages. Exceptions to these requirements may be made based on individual circumstances. Rent includes all utilities and is due on the 1st of each month. Late payments will incur additional fees.
