Pro Fishing Guide Seeking A Room

Description

Hi there! My name is Rickey Knudsen, I'm years old, and I recently arrived in South Carolina! I'm currently staying and working in Goose Creek, but I'm looking for a longer-term place in the greater Charleston area.

I'm originally from a tiny town in Wisconsin, and over the past few years have been looking to broaden my horizons. For example, in , my little brother and I moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico, so that he could perfect his Spanish. We rented an apartment there until New Years of , and now he's traveling and I've decided to check out Charleston.

Every year for about 2 months from mid-August to October, I work as the Head Fishing Guide of Alaskan Expedition Lodge. The Lodge is situated on the Tsiu River of Coastal Alaska (about an hour east of Cordova via bush plane), which is home to the world's largest spawning run of Coho "Silver" Salmon. My primary responsibilities there are to transport clients to and from the river, provide professional opinion on fishing methods, and protection from Brown Bears.

Since the Lodge is so far from civilization, it requires me to be handy with machinery and tools, so I'm also providing daily maintenance to equipment, buildings, vehicles, etc.

For the rest of the year, I'm usually either traveling, working in construction, or working in a restaurant setting.

So far I have been blessed with the South Carolinians that I've come across, and I find y'all to be a people of wonderful character who appreciate life. I want to become an exemplary of the greater Charleston community and I hope I can do so while living with you!
