I have a lovely room available in my house!Room has hardwood floors, original trim, walk in closet, 4 post bed, dresser, side tables (all furniture optional), and is on the main floor next to one of the 2 bathrooms. I bought the house in and am looking for someone to share my space with. There is a large, open living room and dining room. The kitchen is clean and well stocked. There is a second bathroom next to the laundry room, and lots of space for projects and storage in the basement. I have a sun room full of plants. Off the sunroom is a sliding glass door that leads to a huge deck, equipped with bistro table, more plants, and a grill. The deck leads to the fenced in back yard, where there is a fire pit and big shady maple tree. I have a senior pit bull, named Helga. Unfortunately, we cannot have any other pets because she is queen of the castle, and territorial around other dogs. I work as a gardener and landscaper in the warmer months, and as a bartender for the off-season in winter. I grow flowers and veggies and come spring we'll have lots of both!I work quite a bit, but when I'm home I mostly just chill with Helga, watching documentaries or true crime and doing housework. I am a year old woman, and my hobbies and interests include making herbal medicines and topicals, writing, reading, crafting, gardening, nature hikes, swimming, skiing, and I enjoy conversations. Roommate now is moving out November 1st. Looking for someone to move in then because I really like living here. Random information: Top of duplex is empty. I live on the bottom half. Laundry is in the basement so one flight down and free. Parking is free, we have an alley that leads to the back of the house- along with fire pit and raised garden bed that I built with my brother. Utilities are not included in rent, it varies depending on the season but it’s cheap to split in half! Location is really nice, great neighbors, great landlord-i’ve been living in the duplex for 6 years.
