Room for Rent, St Lucia, Brisbane

We have a room available in our awesome St Lucia apartment from the 29th of November!

The apartment is a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to UQ St Lucia, a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to Toowong Village shopping centre, and a quick 7 minutes walk to a Nandos, Domino's and local Asian grocery, as well as the CityCat. There is a bus stop to the city or UQ basically right outside the apartment.

Rent is $160/wk paid fortnightly, with an additional $35 a month for unlimited internet, Netflix and Stan. Electricity bills are split evenly between the three of us every quarter. We'd request the first fortnight to be paid upfront, which would include the $35 for media and internet ($355 all up), plus bond of $546.67.

Both long and short term stay are available, and we are very flexible on length of stay.

You would be living with 2 lovely girls in their early 20s, one just finishing off her Master of Counselling and the other her Bachelor of Psych Science. The bathroom would be shared with only one of us, and she is generally very tidy with communal spaces. The house is fully furnished with pretty much anything you could ever need, including a hammock, although the room itself will be unfurnished. A large study desk can be provided, and there is ample built-in wardrobe space, with the room able to fit a double/queen size bed happily.

The house is generally pretty friendly and easy going, and we love to chill and watch Friends together with some wine whenever we have a bit of down-time from uni. You'd have your own cupboard space and shelf in the fridge, and some space in the bathroom to store your things.
