The room is on the second floor, in the back of the house. The bathroom is next to the bedroom with a full tub. The shared kitchen has granite counter tops. There is also a shared bright and homey dining room.
There are energy-efficient replacement windows, and hardwood floors throughout.
There is plenty of storage in the kitchen and cabinets in the hall outside the bedroom, as well as extra storage and shared laundry (with all tenants of the house) in basement.
There is a 2nd floor back porch that overlooks the large, lovely, fenced-in and gated, shared yard; which is great for outdoor gatherings, and you’ll have use of the grill and firepit. There are a few raised flower beds, one is open to be used. Gardeners are very welcomed.
Shared appliances: dishwasher, gas oven with range, refrigerator with freezer, state of the art Nest thermostat.
Apartment will be freshly painted: If you sign by , you get to choose the wall color, plus one trim color.
There is generally plenty of street parking.
Owner lives on the 3rd floor. He is responsive, helpful, friendly and welcomes respectful, open-hearted people of all ethnicities, genders, etc.

First month’s rent, plus security deposit are required. Very good references and credit score required.
