Subleasing 1 Room in 2 BR/1Bath Apt

I am looking to sublease my room of a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment that is just blocks from downtown Columbia. The apartment is completely remodeled (when I moved in a little over a year ago) with new carpet, tile kitchen and bathroom floors, all stainless steel appliances, and washer/dryer hookups. The apartment has a large living room with a large open concept kitchen, large bathroom and good sized bedrooms. The total rent is $600; so split in 2, each person is responsible for $300/mo. Utilities are also split in 2 and that comes on 1 bill from the City of Columbia. Summer utilities per person are roughly $75 and winter utilities per person are around $125-$150. Water is paid by the landlord. Internet would available to split as well. If you are interested in the place I can arrange a time for you to check it out and to meet the guy who will be staying in the other room. If you are interested in renting the room/place, you would be responsible for your portion of the deposit ($300) to me. You would have to fill out an application with the leasing office (and of course pay their application fee of $35 to them) and pass their 'check' to get in. I am hoping to get this room subleased by the end of September 2015. The current lease runs through July 2016 -- so you would be here for almost a year and could renew at that time or whatever works out for you!

There is a community garden directly North of our parking lot -- where you can get a plot to grow your own food, if this is something you are interested in.
