About me

Hello My name is Day York, I am an emcee, teacher, poet, director and performer from St. Paul, Minnesota. I’m an Augsburg College alum, class of with a BA in American Indian Studies and a Minor in Theatre. Before moving to California in November 2014, I was the technical assistant at the Science Museum of Minnesota, as well as a Certified Teaching Artist specializing in theatre and spoken word. When I moved here I started a 6 month contract as a Technical Recruiter where I got to utilize my skills, assist in placing wonderful people with their ideal career opportunities, as well as learn and gain new abilities that assisted me in reaching my goals. I am currently looking for work in the entertainment industry so I can build my connections, knowledge and art.
