About me

I am looking for a room and roommate(s) starting January 1 (or around that time). I currently live in near LAX and am looking for something closer to Santa Monica, Brentwood, Palisades, West LA (ish). I work in that area and am trying to reduce my commute by as much as possible. I am a young professional and work in the performing arts with children. I teach voice and piano lessons (at my students' homes) and work at a children's theatre in the Palisades. I am friendly, quiet (but not anti-social), respectful, and clean. I am on the go quite a bit. My teaching hours are afternoons, evenings, and some weekends. I also work at a gym in the Palisades part-time in the mornings and sometimes on weekends. I have been steadily building my private lesson studio for the past three years here in LA. I adore my students and their families and really value building those relationships and watching my students grow. It's very fulfilling work! I am very neat and conscientious about common areas, I would say an 8 on a scale of 1 - 10. Neat without being OCD. I also have a dog (20 lbs, terrier mix, name is Winnie) that my husband would have at his apartment most of the time. I might have her on weekends or when he's out of town, but most of the time she would not be living with me. If you think of anything else you'd like to know, just ask! Thanks everyone.
