About me
I am Amilciar Gualdron, a Marine Biologist and Documentary Photographer with over years of experience in photography and audiovisual production. My work blends visual anthropology, documentary storytelling, and portrait photography to capture decisive moments that highlight human resilience in the face of social and environmental challenges. I have participated in diverse projects, from documentaries and advertising campaigns to music videos, and have led creative teams as director of photography at Témpano Films and Arts. My experience includes international photography exhibitions and published books, reflecting my commitment to visual storytelling. As a university professor, I have guided emerging filmmakers and photographers in composition, lighting, advanced editing, and documentary production, sharing both theoretical and practical knowledge. In extreme environments like the Cordillera Blanca, Mount Roraima, and the Amazon, I developed a creative and adaptable approach, also working closely with Pumé indigenous communities in Venezuela. In stock photography, I have collaborated over the past four years with agencies like Adobe Stock and Shutterstock, refining my ability to create images that combine aesthetic and commercial value. Additionally, I produce digital content for social media, utilizing current technologies to tell impactful stories across multiple platforms.
