About me
I am looking for a Female roommate at this time. I work part time at a performance venue. I used to work in the film industry but developed a chronic illness and could not longer handle the long hours. I love theatre, both seeing it and acting in it, so my current job keeps me somewhat involved in that. I value inclusivity, compassion and empathy. I respect the beliefs of others and ask the same in return. I will do whatever I can for my friends, my family, people in need and animals. I have 3 cats that are my kids. While a tenant does not have to interact with them they are friendly so you at least have to be comfortable around them. They will stay out of your space as long as the door is closed. My home is a refuge to me. I purchased after leaving a long marriage and created exactly what I wanted. After developing a chronic illness and becoming unable to work full time it became necessary to have a tenant/roommate. I strive to make you as comfortable in my home as possible and encourage you to make yourself at home in any of the common areas. I will be open in communicating things about how the house runs, guidelines about security regarding the cats and will address any issues with you should they arise. I believe in open, up front communication. I maintain a smoke (of any kind) and drug free home. This my personal preference and a cop lives next door. I am LGBTQIA2S and POC inclusive. I will not tolerate anger in my home. I tend to be quiet unless I am singing along with something I am listening too, watching college football or trying to keep the cats out of trouble. If you are regularly out late at night, drink a lot or come home loud at all hours we will not be a good fit.
