We are working professionals - international consulting, medical, research, and finance - in our mid-twenties to early thirties looking to welcome a new housemate.!The house is spacious, clean, and fully furnished. The first floor has a formal entry foyer, a large living room with a fireplace and big screen projection, a formal dining room, an open kitchen with a family room/sunroom attached, a half bathroom, and a laundry area. We also have a few beautiful gardens, a large front porch, and a huge backyard patio with plenty of seating, a firepit, and a few grills. We're respectful and fun. We enjoy hanging out together as a house from time to time, cooking, enjoying the back patio, playing chess, an evening by the fireplace, and occasionally hosting friends. We tend to keep it pretty quiet during the week but we'll have a few friends over on the weekends for a patio BBQ. The house tends towards a social dynamic but you can keep to yourself as well if that is your preference. We have a very well-behaved house cat.!!The bedroom is actually two joined rooms, has lots of space, is currently partially furnished, has hardwood floors, and a total of windows providing lots of natural light. The bathroom is shared with one other housemate.-minute walk from the Red Line, several bus routes steps from the porch will take you to Georgetown, Tenleytown, Bethesda, Columbia Heights, Dupont Circle, and beyond. Ample street parking and we share a driveway. Walk to Cathedral Commons, McLean Gardens, Wegmans, Hearst ParkUtilities:The utilities (including water, electricity, WIFI, central air, and gas) run about $ per month on average and include a cleaning crew for the common areas.Easy access to Rock Creek Park, NIH, Georgetown University, American University, Bethesda, Redline Metro, Tenleytown, Cleveland Park, Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle, and Glover Park.We have a flexible lease - typically a month that will then convert to a month to month lease.
