Howdy, I own and live in a large-ish 3 bedroom house with my two kitties. I have a furnished room for rent that comes with its own bathroom. The house is quite nice! I recently went through a major renovation that involved lifting the house and building an AirBnB on the ground floor. The upstairs unit where I live is sq. ft., bright and sunny, and there’s a lovely deck in the back of the house that looks out over the neighborhood and garden. The floor plan has 3 bedrooms and an office. There is therefore a guest bedroom, and you are allowed to have guests stay there occasionally. There’s a washer and dryer, the kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, and I don’t have a TV (that could change though). Because of the AirBnB, and that you will be living above it, I need someone who is mindful of noise when there are guests - quiet hrs are between am. I spend a fair amount of time doing maintenance and keeping the place in good order. There’s also 2 cats!! The property is gated and we have a security camera. Parking is on the street and I haven’t had problems with break-ins during my year tenure here. If you’re leaving town for a while, it is possible to leave your vehicle inside the gate. All utilities including high speed internet are included in the rent. Your room is quite large at ft. and has a large closet. It is at the front of the house so it isn’t directly above the AirBnb. I can furnish the room for you with more or less furniture than is currently in the room (just ask, I’ve got a spare standing desk, night stand, dresser, nice rug, etc.). There is an electric wall heater in the room. You also get your own bathroom, but if there is a guest (this is very rare btw.), then you’ll share the bathroom during that period.

High ceilings throughout with hardwood floors downstairs and soft carpet upstairs. Washer & dryer in unit. I am renting it out for the month of NOVEMBER only. I am charging $ plus $ for a fully refundable cleaning deposit. doing a bit of traveling and will be gone. There is a possibility of longer stay downstairs in the living room (which has a massive soft sectional) that people have rented out before in the past. Possibility of month additional stay depending on if well, ya know. If you seem on the up and up, are a straight shooter and are dependable and a good communicator. Not much to ask.
