Hi I'm Selma, one of the four housemates currently living in Surrey Quays.
We're looking for a friendly, responsible young professional (preferably- students may be considered) to take up one of the four bedrooms in our lovely house. Complete with a large kitchen, living room, bathroom and big garden, this is a house I've had the luck to call home, and where I've made an incredible group of friends.
We like to keep the house clean and tidy, and are respectful of each others working hours during the week. We love to hang out in the kitchen over a good cup of coffee on weekdays and go for drinks at the weekend. When the good weather comes round the garden is a beautiful spot to relax, unwind and have a barbecue or two. We all like to cook, and with a couple of musicians and a budding astronomer among us I like to think it's a pretty great group to join.
As for the location: the house is within walking distance of both Surrey Quays and Canada Water Underground stations (Jubilee line and Overground). There's a pretty extensive bus network including the 47, 188 and 199 (all three 24h) which get you to central London within 30 minutes. Surrey Quays Shopping Centre is a short walk from the house with a Tesco Extra, Boots, Poundland and more. Also close is a Lidl, great for cheap food runs!
The room is a large single (you can fit a double bed in if you like) with extra storage out on the landing and a North-facing window with views of the garden.
