Single mom needs home fast

Hello!

I'm looking for a room or place to rent for me and my daughter and an older indoor cat. We are in need of a place by the end of this month as we have been living with my mother and the poor lady wants to retire in the coming year, and I'm putting a serious cramp in her plans... :) We'd be happy sharing a room together, a trailer, a mother-in-law house...really anything that's clean and safe as long as we have each other.

I have court-mandated child support as well as I'm working part-time while continuing to look for full time work. Due to the divorce my credit is kind of awful, and my income just isn't enough to qualify for a place of our own yet. We're in transition, and would be happy with month-to-month or a contract. My daughter's in a charter school in Orangevale, so I'm not tied to location much either. I'd happily get out of the Sacramento area altogether - but all good things come to those who wait (and work their arses off for it! ;) ).

I'm a mature, 45 year old woman, and my daughter is a very sweet 7 year old. We have a very natural, peaceful existence - we can happily be out all of the day in nature, or stay in and play video games or board games together. The kitty is a beautiful and low-key norwegian cat. I loved her so much I brought her back from Norway when I lived there, so it's a must that she comes with us.

My main concern is safety and as much stability for my daughter as I can give her right now. I look forward to talking with you.
