I'm looking for a roommate to share my lovely, quiet home in the Oakland hills (available mid-April). I'm a middle school teacher getting close to retirement. I love to cook and garden and snuggle my two young cats. I'd especially like to find someone who would be interested in building a relationship with them and who would be able care for them when I travel. I'm not a cleaning fanatic, but I do like to keep the space tidy (particularly the shared bathroom) and expect to share chores. I like to hang out in the living room in the evenings and would welcome a reading companion (there's no tv) and a shared meal (prefer vegetarians), but I'm also comfortable with a roommate who hangs out in her room and keeps mostly to herself. LGBTQ+ friendly. No smoking!
