Searching for Roommate!

Hi everybody, my name is Emily. I have a cozy bath apartment in downtown Leavenworth, and I am looking for a roommate to add to my lease! I hate the idea of "renting a room out" as it sounds like you're limited to just the bedroom... well, I'm looking for someone to share the apartment with! We can move your stuff in and rearrange my stuff to make you comfortable / make your stuff fit how you want.

To start, rent is $ but you'd pay half and that's it, as utilities are included + I'm doing internet.

You'd be taking the bigger bedroom (the one with the brick wall), as I've been using the smaller bedroom as an office and most of my stuff is already in there / I really don't want to have to drag everything across the apartment to the other bedroom! As of now, I only have my bed, a couch, a mirror, and a nightstand in there... Those would be moved out by the time you move in. To be clear, there would be nothing in your bedroom, you'd need to supply your own furniture, while the rest of the apartment is furnished.

The dog pictured in some of the photos is NOT mine, I am dogsitting for a neighbor while they're out of town. I have three cats: Pasta, Margaret, and Vander. I could tell you all about them if you wanted, haha.

A tiny bit about me (your new roommate, yay!) -- I'm a student at KCKCC studying addictions counseling, and plan on pursuing a bachelor's in psychology after I finish my associate's at KCKCC. My ultimate goal is to become a substance abuse counselor in Kansas, as somebody who is sober from alcohol.

I work from home as a customer service representative for Turbo Tax, which as you know will pick up VERY soon. I'd consider myself a bit of a workaholic / overachiever at times, putting school and work before my needs sometimes. Outside of work I typically keep to myself and like to play video games, lately I've been really obsessed with Pokémon!
