I am looking for someone to sublet my lease until Feb 28th with the potential of renewing for a year afterward. Your roommate will be a 63 year old gay male who is a pilot. He only lives in the home part time from June until it gets cold. From December to June he lives in Mexico and when he is in Philly he works on a schedule where every other week he is flying the country (out of town) and then the next week he live in Philadelphia. ie ever month during June to December he lives in Philadelphia 2 weeks per month. He's the absolute best roommate you could possibly have as he is friendly as well as absent so you have the home to yourself.

The house is a 1200 sq ft, 25ft tall ceilings, bi-level apartment in the Cosmopolitan Apartments. It has windows that are approximately 20ft tall and 5 ft wide that open, giving you a spectacular view of the city over looking 12th st cafe and 12st gym. The apartment has a washer and dryer in the unit, granite counter tops, disposal, dish washer, central air, hardwood floors except in the bedroom. You will have your own private bathroom, private bedroom, and 2 private closets on the second floor. The house is furnished aside from your room.

We are right on the corner of 12th and locust, surrounded by a plethora of restaurants, shops, bars, and 12 street gym across the street. There's a dog park 4 blocks south, the 9, 12, 21, 23, 40 buses, patco, Broad St Line and EL are all within a few blocks of the house.

Rent is 775 a month and utilities (peco, comcast, and water paid to the apartment complex) are extra bringing you to about 925 per month. You will need first month, last month, and deposit to move mid/ late November or early December so that would be 2,325 upon move in.
