Hey all. I'm posting about 2 rooms available in my Oak Park house. I originally bought the house last year with a friend, but a mental health crisis has put us in the position of needing to find folx to move in to help with the mortgage. The mortgage is $, and because I have the master bedroom and use the garage as my Art studio, I take on the bigger share. Utilities, internet, and City services come out to $ each month depending on the usage of electricity, heating, and air. I’m asking for a $ deposit and some good references.


It is a left leaning political household. LGBTQIA friendly. friendly and if you smoke cigarettes, thats done outside. The owner of the home is really my cat, Osiris, and because of that, unfortunately no more pets can come. He also may decide to sell the house next Summer, so the lease will possibly only be til then.

Open concept home, with bath. There is a dishwasher, a laundry room and plenty of street parking. It has a beautiful kitchen and room The backyard comes with a firepit and planter boxes, with room to build a few more. The garage has a little room for storage, but like I said, I use it as my Art studio. The house has a few steps to get into the front door and out into the backyard, so it's unfortunately not wheelchair friendly.

There is a shared bathroom that has a toilet, sink, and shower. 

Osiris is a magical black cat who spends his days doing hoodcat . He comes and goes as he pleases, and will occasionally talk to and rub his face on you. I am an Artist and Community Organizer who works from home. I like to play music while I’m in the shower, and have my headphones in while working. Together, we would come up with Community Agreements to live by and a chores list. I would be responsible for any repairs.
