The apartment is on the top two floors of a three floor building (accessed by private and very grand front entrance). On the lower floor there is a huge kitchen, a study, a dining room and two very large living rooms (one with a working fireplace). On the upper floor there are three bedrooms. My bedroom is the master room with a ensuite, and there are two further bedrooms with a giant bathroom with tub.

I am trying to make the place a very stylish home. The kitchen is stocked with Mauviel and Demeyer cookware, forged German steel knives, Riedel crystal glasses and Dubost cutlery. I love to cook and to have people around that like to cook. The dining room features a large sisal rug, an Indonesian brass and hardwood table and rattan chairs. The table extends for entertaining. The study has a mahogany and green leather desk and Victorian mahogany chair. The living room with the fireplace currently has an Indian hand woven wooden rug and two peacock green nailhead trim velvet club chairs. Eventually these will be replaced with a huge leather sofa for sitting in front of the fire.

I have no plans to invite anyone into the third bedroom, so it will be maximum two people living there. You will have your own bedroom. The bedroom is a bit tricky to photograph, but it is roughly 15ft by 12ft and has a large closet. It is easily a very nice sized double room, although it is not huge. It has a lot of light with a skylight and a side window. You will also have exclusive use (when there are no guests) of a massive marble bathroom with hot tub, shower, and so on. Its really stunning (see photos). The rent is $1000 per month which is probably more than the size of the room implies, but it includes all utilities and internet, and is half the rent.
