My roommate is moving and I love this place too much to move myself, so am looking for a roommate (preferably for a 1-year lease). Must have proof of employment and good background. I am a 30 year gay male. Quiet. Clean. Respectful. Would prefer a male roommate my age-ish (helps with roommate dynamics) who is gay-friendly.

2 bedroom/1 shared bath on the upstairs unit of a historic duplex right near the heart of the downtown/midtown action. Approximately 900+ square feet adorned with hardwood floors throughout. Features earth tones paint, ceiling fans and window unit a/c in all rooms, gas stove, refrigerator, microwave. Private balcony which looks over the shared backyard as well as own private storage shed that still has plenty of space for any of your items. No Washer/Dryer connections, but there is a laundromat literally at the end of the street.

Located just off of Broadway. Walking and bike riding distance to the Pearl Brewery, Museum Reach part of Riverwalk, Brackenridge Park, SA Zoo, DoSeum, and Witte Museum. Bus routes are also right down Army Boulevard, which is right off Broadway. Also close to Trinity, SAC and University of the Incarnate Word.

YOUR Monthly portion:

Rent - $380/month
Electricity - Ranges from approximately $35 in Winter months to $80 in Summer months
Cable/Internet - $80/month (may be negotiated down depending on cable selections)

Pics include view of current fully furnished unit. Roommate is taking some items, so entire unit will be semi-furnished (living room couch and living room TV and dining table can stay, if needed, but if you have your own living and dining room items, the current ones can leave). Your room will be unfurnished.
