Hi, I'm a former Reuters journalist and I have 4 spare rooms for rent in my renovated 5-bedroom Petworth row house in Northwest Washington DC. Ideal for young professional women or mature-minded grad students. I live in the basement with its own entrance so your main interaction will be with 3 like-minded female housemates.

There are baths for the four of you, so you would share your bathroom with only one other woman. Free Wifi, free laundry, Roku TVs in every room. Utilities and monthly maid cleaning are split evenly among the household. One block to local and express busses, less than a mile to the Georgia Ave Metro station for the green and yellow subway lines, walk to Safeway, Walmart, organic market, CVS and casual eateries.

Myself and previous tenants wanted to keep the home a calm refuge after a long day at work, so this is a guest-free space during the work week. Please limit guests to the weekends, and no overnight guests. Reach out to me if this is the vibe you're looking for. Thanks!
