Have you ever wanted to participate in a meaningful way in the creation of community? The Persimmon house is a newer community house right next to the beautiful Lake Merritt and downtown Oakland!
A recently renovated Victorian, The Persimmon House is a bathroom, and has a ADU. We share a common backyard a sauna. The home features in-unit washer dryer, basement storage, new kitchen appliances, as well as funky art and furnishings in the common areas.
We have two rooms available stating December 1st. Both rooms are available furnished or unfurnished.
One room available is the largest in the house, located by the front entrance and adjacent to the common area. It has double recessed sliding doors on the entry, and tall ceilings. Rent for the room is $, Utilities, WiFi, and a monthly professional cleaning service are included.
The other room available is upstairs and a medium size and shares a bathroom. Has a built in closet and double windows over looking the backyard. Rent for this room is $, with all the utilities listed above included.
The Persimmon House hopes to create a community-minded home, which values inclusivity, open-mindedness, connection, personal growth, and family vibes. We hope to bring in members who are open to participating in shared chores, regular house meetings, and social events as well! The owners are kindly contributing $ per year towards community oriented events.
Rental terms available are flexible, month, or twelve month, available depending on your needs. Sorry no couples, no furry friends :’(
