Couple looking for room to rent

My fiance and I are looking for a room to rent immediately. We would ideally like to spend no more than $500 a month for a room in the Sacramento area; however, we have more than that available. We both have jobs. I am an employee of San Juan Unified School District. I am a team leader with Bridges/ASSETs after-school program and I work 20-25 hours a week and get paid $10/hr. My fiance works at Fed Ex as a package handler for 20-25 hours a week as well and he gets paid $11.90/hr. I am 23 and he is 29. We have a cat, who is potty-trained and has all his shots and is microchipped. He would stay in our room and we would not let him wander about the property.

As of right now we are staying in a motel, which is getting costly, so we are looking to move in to a place right away.
